I love this idea. I'm still trying to figure out the formula for financial success as a solopreneur/freelancer. So I love every message that reminds me to focus on the goals that are actually meaningful, rather than chasing the shiny thing that the big gurus say you should be doing.
I've been doing a lot of experimentation but the limiting factor thus far has been the audience building. I've been having some positive luck with building partnerships. That seems to be the right direction for me.
I think that audience building isn't as needed if your goal is to be a freelancer. Personally, I had a lot of luck cold pitching when it comes to freelancing. However, as a solopreneur, audience building is definitely the better path. And yes, making friends online is also really good!
I can definitely see how that would work, especially when you're looking to work with businesses. There are definitely times when I wish I was an in B2B space (and then start brainstorming and coming up with ideas), but I suppose the grass is always greener!
Hi Chanel! Thanks so much for sharing this :) What kind of freelancing do you do I'm curious! And what are the things you're doing to achieve that? (if you're up for sharing :p)

Awww, that comment means a lot. And what have you been doing to figure out that formula?
